Description
Here we have a beautiful vintage fine quality hand crafted porcelain round VEGETABLE SERVING BOWL by WINFIELD WARE of Santa Monica, California in the "Dragon Flower" pattern showing a stylized dragon blosson and leaves in hues of pink, gray and brown on a cream-tan background.  It measures approx. 8-3/4" in top diameter x 4-1/2" in base diameter x 2-1/2" side high (deep), can hold up to 48 liquid ounces to the brim. It is in very good maintained (lightly/barely used) condition with no chips, cracks or crazing...appearing to have had very minimal use (minor manufacturing interior glaze bubble pop, not offensive.)  The bottom is marked, "HANDCRAFT ~ Winfield China ~ CALIFORNIA."  Came from a well cared for private home collection of many years, however the exact age is unknown, pattern discontinued, began in 1949.  This item weighs approx. 1-1/2 lbs., add 2-1/2 lbs. or so for the packing box and packing material.  I combine shipping when safe and practical for all items purchased.
