Original third season script from the classic series HART TO HART from 1982.  Starring Robert Wagner, Stefanie Powers, and Lionel stander.
This is a third draft of BLUE AND BROKEN HARTED, a clever story where a group of Jonathan's pre-marriage buddies had made a substantial bet on how long the Hart marriage would last.  One of them embarks on a mission to break them up before the date he "bet" expires, so he can collect the significant money at stake.
The relationship of the Hart's was the core to the show primarily due to the phenomenal chemistry between the two leads.  The network constantly badgered the producers to add conflict, an affair, or some tension to the marriage, utterly clueless the successful marriage of these two was so critical in this era of DALLAS and DYNASTY prime-time soaps.  Due to all that, this episode, a well remembered and favorite of fans, shook the fan base to it's core with the routine network promos, structured to make it look as though the Hart's were really breaking up.  This generated a huge ton of mail to the network from a furious fan base before the episode even aired, only to calm down once the episode aired and it became clear the break up was simply a ruse of the Hart's to try and untangle the attempts to destroy their marriage.
A rare script of a top episode, this original is stamped on both the cover and inside title page as received in the office of broadcast standards for the network on January 8th, 1982.  Note their is some light water damage causing a light fade in the right side of the cover with a small smudge bleed on the inside title page, and some markings wear to the back cover.  Please inspect photos closely.  The script is all pink pages.
