This is a brushed metal badge.  It is approximately 2 3/4 inches x 2 1/4 inches.
The collector box measures 3/1/2 inches by 4 inches x 1 inch.
The quote on the inside lid of the box is from Season 1, episode 26 "Hack Prine" and reads:
Marshal Dillon:  "It's a chancy job.  It makes a man watchful and a little lonely, but somebody has to do it."
